The Recession Pt. 2
For the record, I’ve tried to be as optimistic as possible regarding our economy throughout the past year. I watched CNN when all the analysts were crying that the sky was falling and that within 6 months we’d all be living in cardboard boxes, eating dry ramen noodles. Then I saw the same analysts come on the […]

Saturday Night Fever
Disclaimer: I was slightly inebriated during the posting of this article.
However, if I can write an entire drunken article using proper grammar, then you have no excuse to get points taken off your English 367 paper for spelling and grammar mistakes…
So, it all started when I was driving home last night from a place which […]

Witnesses sought from Gaswerks Saturday night
Anyone downtown on Saturday night around 2:30am when that guy got sucker-punched in the back of the head outside of Gaswerks? Well, unfortunately he died as a result of that single blow to the head, and police are coming up pretty empty-handed.

I get in my car today and the radio happens to be on 99.7 - The Blitz, and instead of playing me some rock and roll, it keeps repeating the same message in an animatronic voice over and over that the station is “rebooting” and would be finished tomorrow at 5pm.
The website does the same.

Will Rickenbacker Ever Turn a Profit?
Our fare city’s only daily newspaper had an interesting piece in it yesterday about Rickenbacker airport.
Franklin County taxpayers have invested $115 million in Rickenbacker Airport since 1981, and it’s still operating in the red.
While the quest for profitability is decades old, the current plan is for self-sufficiency by 2012.
How bad is the situation over at […]
And now it’s on to Dallas…
The man may have arrived an hour and a half late, but the packed house at St. John’s Arena didn’t seem to mind when Senator Barack Obama took to the stage today in Columbus on Ohio State University’s campus, just before noon.
The reason for the delay was a snowstorm in Cleveland, where the presidential candidate […]
