Noodles & Company Opens This Week on Campus
Business is booming in the North Campus area, first with the return of BW3’s at their new location on the corner of Lane and High, and now another new business will open its doors this Saturday just a stone’s throw away.
Noodles & Company will open its third Columbus restaurant August 18th at 2124 N. High St. The new business is located where the (dilapidated) Chinese Village used to be, and comes after a steady amount of well-needed demolition and construction of buildings on the entire block.
According to Noodles & Company, the eatery will serve “a balanced menu of freshly sautĂ©ed Asian, Mediterranean and American cuisine like Japanese Pan Noodles, Penne Rosa and Wisconsin Mac & Cheese.” The company also uses only fresh vegetables, meats, and pastas, foregoing the need for microwaves, freezers, and can openers.
To kickoff the opening of the newest location, Noodles & Company is hosting a benefit night on Friday for the James Cancer Hospital, with all proceeds being donated to the hospital. The restaurant will be open from 5pm - 9pm on Friday night for the benefit, and will begin its regular business hours on Saturday, opening at 11am.
The new restaurant is also self described as a “tip-free zone” - something this college crowd might be especially interested in.
